USA Community Partners Project, Inc was founded in 2016 to provide a range of humanitarian services across the southeast. Since then USACPP has implemented a variety of programs and received its official designation as a 501(c)3 organization.
In April 2019, USA Community Partners Project, Inc. established the Francis Marion Disaster Assistance Resource Program to provide specialty rescue equipment and other disaster recovery services to first responders in low-income, disaster-impacted communities.
This program was developed after witnessing first hand the devastation and operational issues created when Hurricane Florence ripped across the Carolinas. While staffing the South Carolina State Guard's Charleston Tactical Operations Center (picture above), Program co-founders Walt Knott and Stephen Bailey oversaw rescue operations in low-income areas where local first responders lacked the resources needed to help rescue themselves and their neighbors.
Today, the FMDART team's capabilities are expanding quickly as we continue to acquire equipment and enter into Mutual Aid Agreements with first responder organizations and municipalities across the Southeast.
